A profound philosophy from a simple housewife

"जब अपने आप को पसंद नहीं करते हैं… तो अपने से जुडी हुई हर चीज़ अच्छी नहीं लगती। नयी छीज़े आकर्षित करते हैं। जब अपने आप को प्यार करने लगते हैं तो वही पुराणी ज़िंदगी नई लगने लगती है। अच्छी लगने लगती है। मुझे अपने आप से प्यार करना सिखाने के लिए thank you."

(Jab apne aap ko pasand nahi karte hain to apne se judi hui har chheez acchhi nahi lagti. Nayi chhezen aakarshit karte hain. Jab apne aap ko pyaar karne lagte hain to wohi purani zindagi nayi lagne lakti hai. Acchhe lagne lagti hai. Mujhe apne aap se pyar karne sikkhaane ke liye Thank you..)

Means......

"When you don’t love yourself, you do not like anything associated with you. New things (mostly unwanted) start attracting you. When you start loving yourself, the same old not so beautiful life starts looking new. Starts looking beautiful….. Thank you for showing me how to love myself."

No….this is not any popular quote / saying. Sridevi’s parting dialogue in the Film “English Vinglish” to the French guy who gets attracted to her!

A profound philosophy from a simple housewife!

A take home message from a plain ‘laddu making’ home maker!

Being a fan of both the mantra “Love yourself first / Self Love” as well as Sridevi, I just loved this dialogue--a saying by Gauरी Shinde? And wanted to share it.

Remember always to “FLY” (First Love Yourself)
