A newly arrived soul in heaven was met by St Peter. The
saint toured the soul around the heaven.
Both of them walked inside a large room filled with angels.
St Peter took the soul to the first section and said, “This
is the receiving section. Here, all petitions to God said as prayers are
received.” The soul looked around. It was a terribly busy section with all the
angels sorting out voluminous petitions from all over the world.
St Peter took the soul to the nest section. “This is the
packaging and dispatch section. Here, the blessings and graces are packed and
delivered to the people on earth who prayed for them.” This was an equally
terribly busy section too. There were so many angels working in that room to
pack and deliver innumerable blessings and graces.
St Peter took the soul to the last and final section. To its
total surprise, unlike the other busy sections, there was only one angel
sitting idly for want of work.
“How is it there is no work here? What section is this?” asked the soul.
“This is the acknowledging section. The saddest thing is after they receive the blessings, very few send their acknowledgements.”

“This is the acknowledging section. The saddest thing is after they receive the blessings, very few send their acknowledgements.”
“How does one acknowledge God’s blessings?” asked the soul
in wonder.
“Simple. Just say, ‘Thank you Lord,’” answered St Peter.
